HOW TO: Remove Gel-X Tips

Watch along to see how to remove Gel-X tips, from a salon or from the comfort of your own home! Featuring our 5 in 1 Bit (Straight Cut) - XF bit and Nail Remover Clips!
Steps:
- Use E-File (5 in 1 Bit (Straight Cut) - XF) to remove top coat and gel polish
- Use nail clipper to trim Gel-X tips
- Place acetone-soaked cotton round on nail, and secure with Nail Remover Clip
- Leave on for 10-15 minutes
- Remove Gel Nail Remover clip and cotton round
- Scrape off excess gel left on nail
- Use Nail File 100 to remove any extra gel
- Use Nail Buffer 100/180 to smooth out the surface of your nails

Why do the Gel-x tips always take forever to soak off for me? I use an e-file to remove the top coat and gel color layer. I have even tried filing through some of the clear tip layer to speed up the process as well, but whenever I remove my nails from soaking (15+mins) and gently scraping off the gel layers, it seems like the initial "extend gel base coat" layer is still intact and is not penetrable by acetone. I have to go back in and file this layer like it's covered in gel top coat before the acetone can melt it down. Can anyone else relate?

I recommend Ericas ATA T. rex bit and just file until it’s a super thin layer like a gel mani and do one soak off use a generous am of acetone in cotton, foil AND the Clip for 15 mins and scrap as much as u can and scrape hard but not at the natural nail then file the rest off it should take half an hour

I have the same issue! I soak a cotton, wrap with foil and a clip, total time is like 45 mins

Hello :) just curious, how do we clean these clips? Simple warm water with soap & scrub with brush or put them in barbicide ?

Hola! Si, eso es correcto. Puede rellenar nuestras unas con nuestro nuevo producto el Soft Gel Builder. Lo puede usar para uñas que tienen menos de dos semanas. Si tienen más de dos semanas puestas, no le recomendamos que le haga un relleno. Esas las quita completas.

I don't think they are made to, you'd have to just fill in the cuticle

I think the only way is by using a peel of base coat I recommend holo taco they have good peel of base coasts

Just how they said bout peel off base coats they also sell nail tabs that’s are acting like glue so you can reuse n easily pop off.. nurses tend to use these the most etc but they exist. You’d just reuse your set
