I left a ball point pen in the back pocket of light grey jeans and washed those with a variety of khaki tone shorts (about 6 pairs of pretty expensive brand) and t-shirts of grey, tan, yellow tones. Incredibly the pen leaked only on the most worn out pair of shorts and didn't get on any of the other garments, and only in one blotch on the back packet. Wow was I fortunate. That could have been very costly and time consuming.

I just want to say thank you for showing me this little trick. I have a NEW white t shirt that went into the wash with a pen from my husbands shirt. I tried Zout, bleach and wash, you name it I tried it. Then I found you!! Hallelujah, sprayed hairspray on it and the ink just runs off. Just don't let it run back onto the shirt. Took a bit, but good as new. Thank you!!

I accidentally marked a white dress shirt with a regular blue "Bic" ball point pen, a blue line about a 1/2 long. Me being a man, could this be any type of body spray for men like "Axe", or any other type of men's body spray?

I had a stain on a favorite shirt and couldn’t bring myself to throw it out and so the stain was there for about 6 months and I finally just threw Clorox on it and let it soak for about 3 minutes and I brushed it with a toothbrush for about 4 minutes and ran it under really hot water for about 2 minutes and the stain is gone no need for all this stuff but thanks for showing it still

We want the solution of removing ink from clothes not the solution to dirt your shirt with ink.

The spray worked because it had alchol in it. Most inks remove with alchol so, you could also try scrubbing it in alcohol
