Great video.That clip is tough to remove. It even has a a ridge at the end to make it even more difficult. I used a hook tool like they show you in the video (I made one from coat hanger wire) to pull it part way out, then small pliers with long narrow jaws to finish the job. Careful not to break the mirror when the clip finally comes loose!

Pearfect! You need to come up with a way to get that clip cover back on though. That thing adds at least 5 bhp.

Hi - following your helpful video I’ve just replaced my fiesta door mirror. However, the mirror doesnt fold with the keys when unlocking and locking the car. They work ok using the fold button on the door. Any idea/clues please??

You need to remove the plastic cover on the inside of the trunk door. It's the only way to reach the license plate lights and trunk opening button Ford really loves making simple things like replacing a 5w bulb difficult for the user

What are the little bumps on the mirror cap for? My MK7 mirrors start to whistle at 155 kph and that is super annoying. If I fold the mirrors in the noise is immediately gone. Maybe these bumps are an aerodynamic problem solver?
