I still haven't entirely gotten the hang of bezier curves on drawing masks to create them as quickly and easily as most online tutorials seem to suggest I can, but once I'm better at it, I'll be coming back to this video! Thanks!

Masking is one of those concepts that are hard to get into, but with just a bit of patience it changes everything.

I've been following the advanced premiere playlist which led me to this video...but after seeing the way you tilted the screen to explain how the concept works I'm very impressed...I thought in my mind that If i wasn't subscribed I'll subscribe because of that...but then i checked and realized i wasn't subscribed all along.... This is awesome! Really helped. The objects I was removing was small and in the background like a chip bag on the ground. I was able to adjust the position of the bottom clip, and it filled the grass in.

Do you have any suggestions to remove a mouse cursor from my footage? I dont want to go back and record it all over again, it just has a mouse cursor in the same spot the whole clip as it moves around in the game I recorded. Pretty sure I need a different technique than moving a moving item that is only there temporarily.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but when it comes to select the slip tool (Y) and move the bottom layer foward or backward nothing happens... instead of showing the empty portion. Any help will be appreciated!

another thing i find annoying is when i have two videos and they are identical but they are apparently off by mini frames and you cant fix it one has a slight edit to it but a glitch i wanna fix by bringing in the original clip to mask in that piece missing from the edited clip but when i do that i follow my subject and al of a sudden its a frame ahead or behind every time and its so annoying

when i click the pen tool its not highlighting to were i can manually mask it. When I click I just see an added option saying Mask 2 and submenus. Same thig when I click the square or circle. why is that?

It would be nice to see an explanation of how to do this INSIDE of a larger clip. I already have a 4 min video already made up of different clips and I only want to apply this to a shot that's in the middle of the whole clip.

I try to remove two apples that fall on the kitchen counter behind a glass when I'm filming. I try to remove these apples in premiere pro but I don't know how to get them away so that the glass with the background is the same as it was before the apple ended up behind the glass? Ok, I can see the black patch on the object I wanted to cut out of my video but then when I keep playing it in the Editing Panel I still it BLACK PATCH.. what is the next step? How can I remove this black patch and make it disappear in the Sky with Clouds in Background ???? This video is missing out a couple of necessary steps for beginners like myself. This tutorial is not so helpful in acheiving what it's intended to achieve.
