Great video. I am a new be I am just leaning not sure about the pads.

Yes the pads can be a bit confusing as they are all different and for different applications. Just when buying make sure to read what the pad is recommended for.

I need to do this on my older Honda. What is the brand name polisher buffer you are using?
@Got_Wax_Custom_Auto_Detailing10 ай бұрын
We are using a torq polisher!

Cool! What if your clear coat already started to pop blisters on top of the oxidation?

Its kind of hard to determine if its worth doing a correction on it or not. sometimes you would actually need to sand it down so its smooth then do a correction with a really deep cut and that would bring the paint back but depending how bad it is it could be a total loss.

Did you have clay bar before you polished the vehicle?

How long did that last you? Is it still holding up well?
@Got_Wax_Custom_Auto_Detailing10 ай бұрын
Hello! It depends what cut you do! On this one we just did a stage one cut! You can kinda see some oxidation arising again but it still looks really good but that’s cause it was a stage one cut so we didn’t go too deep and the vehicle is parked outside in the dust and sun 24/7. If you went with a stage 2 or 3 and cut deeper into the paint then it would probably be more of a long term to permanent fix depending on how the vehicle is treated and the paint condition.

I just finished doing mine by hand today. That was no easy task in this Georgia heat. I used mcguires compound and polish. I’ll for sure be doing it with a power tool next time 😅😂. I’m not sure what stage it is but my guess is just stage 1. Hopefully it lasts me a while, my car stays out in the elements too. Thanks for your helpful information!

@@cartershelton7591 oh man! I hear ya! It’s probably pretty humid out there! We’re based out of Tucson Az so we deal with the 115 degree weather haha

@@Got_Wax_Custom_Auto_Detailing well I’m definitely glad I’m not out in that heat! I couldn’t imagine that.

How do you determine the “stages”? In a way, do you mean “steps” as in 1 step correction or 2 step and so on?
