I had the same problem(push power protect) in my sony music system Mhc vx 333 the same model shown in this video. I had the issue solved by a person who was an authorised sony warranty agent/dealer.For people in kozhikode,kerala who are experiencing the problem ,you can get original parts from a service provider located at Thenveer complex near to fish market at English Ppalii Nadakkav kerala.

Power supply ൽ ഉള്ള capacitors check cheyu , അത് ഏതെങ്കിലും week ആയിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ humming വരും, പിന്നെ Ground എവിടെയെങ്കിലും drysolder ആയിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നും check ചെയ്യു

Hai sir ... Sony MHC-RV8 | USB ഗെയിം ഓപ്ഷനിലൂടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു, പക്ഷേ നിമിഷങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളിൽ അത് tape B യിലേക്ക് മാറുന്നു .പിന്നെ കട്ട്‌ ആയി display മാത്രം കാണിക്കുന്നു.സർ എന്താണ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്.

Sir, I NEED YOUR HELP!!! I had the same system for which my father gave for bluetooth integration. But the technician was not able to do the same and returned the speaker in 'PUSH POWER PROTECT' mode. When we asked him to rectify it, he solved it with only one speaker working. Thenafter, I decided to give it to another technician in the city whose reviews were very good. He then said that one channel in the STK is damaged and new STK is not available. So, he will create a board manually and fix my system. He then did the same and returned my system. But the sound of the system is completely degraded. Like it has lost its originality and finesse. When I said my new technician, he said that the new STK board is assembled so this can happen, and he will set the sound according to my speaker. Please help Sir! This is something like a souvenir to me and I want it in its ORIGINAL sound!

Hi.. I have STR-KM55. It has the same problem. Removed all the cables and tried to switch it back on. It worked perfectly fine. But, when tried to switch it back on this morning, it shows the same issue again. Not sure of the cause and how to resolve it. Can you suggest how to resolve this issue.
