I am right now having problems with the cue. Is frozen. I told my husband not to buy this type of cars he didn't listen. To me is a money pit. Has blind spots. I hate it. I just need a reliable car that's it.

Just make sure you have removed all 4 mounting screws holding the unit in place.

I figured it out. its 6 screws not 4.

The cruddy screens in the original CUE system have gel between the two glass surfaces. This gel dries up over time giving it a cracked appearance. The dried up gel also makes the screen unresponsive. If you go to the dealership and have it replaced it will just happen again, same cruddy gel screen. The dealership replaces the whole unit under warranty but after warranty you pay around $1500 to have the unit replaced. Then it happens again a couple years later down the road. Hotter climates make the situation worse, faster to become problematic. If the CUE manufacturer just made the screens non gel type this problem would never exist and the CUE system would'nt be so negatively looked at.

@@pspgamerserjio You can purchase the non gel screens and swap it out and never have the problem again. Actually enjoy the system how it was originally designed without all the freezing and unresponsiveness. While it sounds crazy, the CUE system is a very feature rich and nice system. Shame they went cheap on the screen design initially.
