Great instruction on how to remove the 97-02 Wrangler back seat. There was a redesign of the back seat in 03 where a handle pulley system was used.

Thank you once again! I removed the seat the other day to haul some boxes and I learned that 1. the previous owner took the cotter pins out and 2. I was confused on the posts going back in. Thank you again for an informative and cool path to putting it back in sir!

I took my rear seat out and tossed a dog bed back there for my husky. I've also got the same Smittybilt netting that you have, so it's perfect for taking road trips with my dog.

Thank you this is my first Jeep 1997 Wrangler I thought I was going to have to unbolt the damn thing from the floor to make space for traveling.

My backseat is always folded up, I have bungee cords holding it up. Haven't put it down in months lol

It seems like I have an extra clip holding the piece you raise up to be able to push it forward. Looking at it it seems like it doesn't come off. I have a 99

Kyle, do you happen to know what the rear cargo dimensions are (LxW) with the rear seat out and the driver seat racked all the way back (furthest from steering wheel)?

What doors do you have? did they come with the mirrors?

Do you know how to take it off on the ljs? My backseat is completely different it basically folds itself forward, but then I can’t find those little clips to remove to pull out

What do you call those rubber bumpers below the rear seat? I’m searching everywhere online and can’t find them. My rear seat is missing them.

I want to take the back seat out of my 04 wrangler it has a lever on the top of the seat and one release cable broke. It will not let the seat down or let me remove the seat the bolts can't be reached. Any ideas?
