This method helps me out a lot, but there are some dual Sim phones that don't have Knox, so am stuck on most of them

For those, you must hard reset and all data will be lost in that case

Not with this method, it will just remove Samsung account and you can login your own afterwards

Disable Alliance Shield admin from Settings > Security > Phone administrator and then just remove it from Apps
