If it’s deep in wood like a door frame and I can’t get it out and I can’t use pliers then do what I did and buy a stripped screw remover

If the head is sticking out this much just use the drill chuck to clamp down on it and reverse it out.

A LATEX glove just worked for me!! Tape did not work. And this thing was rusty and stripped really bad. Be sure to apply pressure!

😭 I don't have a drill so I tried to do the other tricks. It didn't work. I'm trying to get the replacement screw out from underneath the ring cover camera cause I lost the original screw. I screwed up somehow installing the replacement screw so now it's just stuck

Finally someone who makes sense! Too bad I am watching the video after I already removed the screw after I permanently screwed it up and I tried to add plastic cushion (don’t know its name) in the hole to replace the broken screw with another smaller screw (all I had available) and totally screwed it up. 😫🙈

might be the angle but it looks like a square 2 or 3 not a philly 2 not saying this wont work but try the correct bit before searching for hacks also vise grips should have been your lead if the screw is stripped not duct tape

Nah, it's just a stripped philips, you can see where the cross is still in tact on either side of the round stripped out portion.

Better to open the front of the drill. Insert screw... Tighten... Hit reverse and done!
