thanks because there's no real alternator help on here for my late model trooper, there's some differences of course but your steps worked perfectly and the sizes matched which is all I can ask for🤗 oh yeah and the later troopers have more wheel clearance so no need to mess with any fenders ~just jack it, pull the wheel off and it's all right there (gotta have solid alternator/battery with the fancy trooper cuz it's ALL electronic, even the transfer case controls)

Thanks for the vid! Going to be doing this soon myself and I was worried it would be as difficult as replacing the starter. Seems like a good opportunity to replace the serpentine while you're there.

Would you happen to know why putting the new alternator is so difficult? I am sure we have the correct alternator. But it almost has to be wedged in. This happened with an Aura recently. We are trying to put in an alternator for a 1995 Isuzu Rodeo
