Should the hair be dry or wet ??? I wanna try this so bad !!!

​@@Dashauna22probably dry I'd think. Newspaper falls apart and sticks to things when wet, and the ink may rub off onto the wig.

Yass!!!! The hemp almond is my favorite one. With the peppermint one I just noticed it took the smell out completely. I’m assuming because of the strong peppermint smell. I’m so glad you tried it! 🥰❤️

Did the smell ever came back

@@thinkboutdat no, it didn’t come back. But, I still wash it the same way when I take them out. I feel better knowing there is no chance of the hair ever smelling like that again. I work out daily and sweat in my head mostly, no smell.

@@Goldgoodnesscan I haven't washed it again yet but I did get rained on when wearing it and I did spray water on it before brushing it and no smell came back which was not the case before I used the Dr. Bronners peppermint. It also doesn't smell like peppermint because I used my normal shampoo after doing the treatment. The hair is also still very silky but perhaps that is the wig I bought. You can absolutely trust my feedback because I suffer from MCS "Multiple Chemical Sensitivity" which means if the chemical was still in the wig I'd still be reacting to it and would be able to smell it. I have the nose of a black bear. Nothing gets passed me. I smell EVERYTHING- it's awful. My daughter had to do the bronners peppermint treatment Because peppermint triggers my asthma. I was so happy the peppermint also washes out. So I'm very pleased that I can't wear my wig. No more difficulty breathing, itching,sneezing and neurological symptoms.

Hey love.💕 that’s a really good question. I’ve always pondered on washing virgin hair but never did. Just because I didn’t Want to mess with the texture. But I would with raw hair Though just because it dries in its natural state.

I used a shea moisture deep conditioner and it is just as fine.

Hey. Yea it’ll strip the chemical smell completely. And then once you add the silicone conditioner it’ll bring back the moisture and softness. Plus it smells amazing

@@stephg.8202 thanks Steph. I'll try it because I've tried baking soda, vinegar,and both combined and didn't work. This is my last attempt before I toss out $500 worth of hair and go back to synthetic. Hoping it works.

You can probably still wash the hair. I would say just do it gentle. Kinda glide your hands through it. Not so much scratching. I hope this helps

Hey love 💕 so sorry for the late response. Yea that’s definitely a tough one. Definitely providing a hair care card with instructions on how to wash the bundles helps a lot. Because if the hair is Bomb the customers won’t mind buying the hair even tho it has that order, which is expected with most virgin hair bundles because of the chemicals but if you’re transparent and provide them the instructions on what to do then it makes it so much better for a customer to trust you and come back for more hair. All they need is the secret to get rid of the smell and you golden. 🥰🤗

Hey love 💕 yes you can I’ve had to do bank transfer and western union before. But just make sure you search everywhere to make sure the company is legit. Most of the time this happens with south East vendors or India.

It’s because the donor oil their hair and natural sebum.. I use Malibu hard water treatment to clarify all my raw bundles!!! Then follow up with deep conditioning!!

I don't understand why the hair smells like that! I ordered hair from Amazon and it smelled like dead fish to! This is the 4th time! I keep returning them because I can't put that on my head hell no! @@stephg.8202 sis I ordered from Ideal 24” loose wave. The hair was a little tangled and almost feel plastic. Mandy said the tangle was due to days in transit and drying. Do you have any tips for dry bundles. I ordered hair from JP and KbL and no issues. KBL hair is soft no tangles however had Cheetos smell still after I washed. JP hair is bomb af, no smell, soft. I narrowed my vender to JP.

Ooouuu I haven’t tried it but I would think so. It’s a powerful soap gets rid of most Odor’s. It Just May dry the synthetic hair so you may need to provide a good amount of deep conditioner to moisturize it.

I've been black my whole life and have yet to find the black women that you speak. FYI the smell comes with the hair when it is received. She advises to wash with this soap before wearing them. Why come here in OUR space and be negative? There are many spaces available throughout the interwebs where you can find other black men who will join and support you in your disdain for and mockery of black women; this is not the place.
