Use a brass rod & or brass hammer to remove and install the securing ring

Why remove the tank if only to work on pump..did you not try removing the back seat and the carpet to get access on the plate cover..under the cover is the fuel pump..

Lol I had to replace the fuel pump and troubleshoot why it wasn't marking the level in the dash....it turned out to be the pigtail 🤷♂️

I got 2010 traverse an it turns over but won't start .no engine check light on.put it on a code reader it showed cylinder 2 an 4 miss fire .then on another code reader it read crank sensor so I change it an still no start .any advice?

thats weird but i would start with the crank sensor. than can cause the miss fires

Man I change it just spins over .put the old one back on an pump the gas pedal an it started but didn't keep running. Spray starter fluid in it still no start .any advice?
