This is a tutorial video on how to remove and replace the back glass cover on your Samsung Galaxy S10.
Its the same procedure and same glass back cover used for all carrier models.
All models - Samsung Galaxy S10

I like how companies make it more and more difficult for the customer to fix their own problems. It was no reason for this phone not to have an easy to remove and reinstall back glass cover. Companies ( including car company and others ) do this because they try and force you to return to them so they can get more of your money.

Samsung charge £99 to fix and replace this back glass, my local shop charges £35. Guess who I'm gonna go to Samsung 🙄😂

This isn’t hard at all. You don’t know what your talking about. This is the EASIEST back glass replacement I’ve seen and it’s been like that for a while. You literally just pry it off. It’s glued on there for water resistance. On an iPhone the camera lense is welded to the frame So😐

Car companies sure. Cell companies to an extent. I would be complaining about phone batteries not having a buffer so they go to crap within a few years. The non removable battery/back is for water resistance. You can literally boil an s10 and it will be fine.

I used my hair dryer on high everything. I couldn’t get the back to lift with the suction cup though. I ended up working my way in from the side where the back was broken most. Once in I was able to work around and alternatively loosen the adhesive and reheat where needed. I didn’t do near as clean of a job as you did but then again the back was also shattered which is why I was replacing it in the first place. Installing the new back was extremely easy though! Thanks for the tutorial!

@@Infinity-pv5nd Its definitely not an easy job, i'm good with these things but took me over an hour to get the back glass off, but did it without breaking the glass. Its no doubt a tough job, can be hit and miss

Where do you get the razor blade plastic prying tool you said all the tools will be like down below I went to the tool section and didn't see that tool that's the one I'm looking for and there's additional videos with the big gray card it's about big as your hand I don't know if you know the name of that one it's another videos If where I can get that your video is very awesome it breaks down it perfectly I'm more than capable of doing that stuff done similar jobs but haven't worked on a phone in a while thank you for you can answer those questions pray video

And what if the cracks are near the bottom, where the charging port is? Suction cup won't hold then, so how would one apply the cup (assuming its not the cup itself that is the issue) so that it holds? The cracks would prevent a seal from forming.

My mobile'back cover is not broken, it just got off by itself from the adhesive. Do I have to replace the adhesive in order to stick the back cover? Or do I have to just heat it?

I think it's the same process for all Samsung (Galaxy) phones. You just need to make sure you buy the appropriate replacement back panel for your your model (s10e)

I have a question.. can the back glass also have moist bubbles inside? Not sure if its moist bubbles but i see i have black spots that I cant remove with a cloth.

Its most likely the coating on the back cover itself that is peeling away from the cover. You might want to ha e that checked out by Samsung

I have no experiance with this but i will still give you my tought. If you put more adheasive it is more likely that the phone is waterproof. I am very late, did you find a solution? Did you remove the rear cover? Im removing mine soon and i could appriciate some tips.

I have a question about if through my s10+ against the wall hard enough it was hanging out the case and is now slightly bent on the power button side could there be any internal damage to like the mother board or battery speakers something like that? It has got super hot once but making me think my phone is toast now...

Yep, in my head i compared how much time used being annoyed by the clicking sound of my phone when i shake it VS time to get the tools and learn how to properly do this to open up phone before i get to my next phone .. Definitely gonna stay with the clicking sound .

Clicking sound is in all s10s that's the camera. just try going to the camera app and notice the shaking stops

i need to replace just the camera glass on the back, do i need to remove the entire back, or can i lift the camera glass off of the back plate and simply replace that?

@@ytdark7993 I think what @r3h0L3S is asking is if they'll have to remove the back in order to get the camera glass off...which they do. The camera glass is stuck (with adheeeeeesive and a plastic rim) to the back glass cover on the inside. You can buy just a replacement camera glass, that's true...but you might as well replace the entire assembly since your adhesive will be all jacked up on the back glass once you remove it. The price for the parts is negligible, just the wait for shipping sucks (in most cases)

I've consistently heated up the back and yet no avail with the back coming off.Why is that? It's been hot to the touch. I'm afraid to overheat the phone.

My back just fell off, it appears to have been forced open by the inflated battery pushed it open. A battery should not squish like a steak. S10

Mine keeps getting unstuck, despite the fact I've done all he did in the video with a brand new back case. I even kept it clamped for almost 3 hours but it's STILL getting unstuck and I don't want to have to use apoxy or industrial superglue on my phone.

use B 7000 glue (you can find it on amazon or ebay etc.) but you will have to remove the old adhesive first or at least make sure there are no wrinkles if left on it. Once you put the new cover back on the phone use just normal pegs all around for a couple of hours to keep it in place

I cracked my back screen and it's really not a big deal. If you have a case you can pretty much ignore it. Although when you sell your phone you want to replace the glass. It makes a few hundred dollar difference

Lol you're using same backdoor glass. That doesn't give this any waterproof. Keep in mind that reusing same glass has no good adhesive.
