Today I am going to present you an effective method to remove the shields from the motherboard. I have two mini Dremels on my hands, these precision cutting tools are an invaluable resource if you're in the business of mobile repair. Undoubtedly, its cost justifies its inclusion in any technical laboratory.

When testing the second mini Dremel, I notice that it is heavier and seems more robust. It makes precise cuts, although its speed seems a bit slow to me. As a professional, I highly value time, as it is a critical resource in our work. Once you've made the cuts on the sides of the armor, you can easily remove it with a wire cutter. You only need to make small cuts along the edge of the sheet metal.
Regardless, my preferred method of removing shields is using hot air. In this case, I apply high temperature and high airflow for a short period. I can assure you that this approach is faster and more efficient in most cases. Even so, I consider it essential to have a precision Dremel in our workshop. There are times when we need to make tiny cuts in screws, some small shields, among others.
Now, I will demonstrate our method of removing the shields using the hot air station. I use a temperature of 400ºC with 80% airflow. In just 30 seconds, we have the shield off the motherboard. For me, this is the best method for removing shields from the board. You will need a little experience and overcome the initial fear, but I assure you that it is a method that does not overheat the board. The trick is to work without a nozzle to spread the heat over a wider area and move the nozzle in circles.
That is all for today. I hope this information is useful to you and that you have learned something new. Don't forget to like our content to support our project. See you in the next video. All the best! I am Leonardo, and thank you for joining me in this experience.
