Interesting approach, I really like the pace you use. Note to others - make sure you mirror Rahim's settings. For example on the mixer brush, you want your brush to be clean. You'll see there are a few parts where you may get a different result, just pause and mirror settings and it will work. Nice job Rahim.

thats kinda weird. I was 90% sure he would use frequency seperation. I mean we already use it to fix wrinkles on our skin without losing texture. Clothes are pretty much the same

Thank you! Your video is very helpful when editing wrinkled cotton or linen clothing that I just couldn't minimize during the shoot unless I ironed the client's clothes. Not doing that. lol

I'm practicing on a very wrinkled hard fabric like a duffel bag and I've been trying to look for tuts that explains how to "iron" very difficult wrinkles in fabric so this tutorial has greatly helped me better understand this freq separation on objects 💖 thank you.

Great video, Rahim! I agree - It's always best to iron the clothes beforehand. *throws a dress into a bag and rushes to shoot* Lol! :)

I followed your instructions. But, after setting the Brush and painting on the Color layer with the Mixer brush does nothing. Why is this?

You have to make sure 1) you choose the right blur value, so play around with that 2) Play with your mixer brush settings on top with the flow and wetness it depends alot on the image, the bitrate etc etc

Sad Face... in adobe Photoshop 2020, this tutorial does not work...

Hi there, oh i am sorry, but what is it that is not working in adobe PS 2020 for you ? Because there are tools that are same in 2020 or even 2018 or 19. Its Blend modes, mixer brush and curves layers which are the same tools, where did you struggle with it, let me know so i could help you out

@@relicsoul5097 Hey, do you get the grey layer when you click "apply layer" ? or is it black. ? Because if it is black it could be possible you are dealing with a 16bit image. If thats the case, hit me up on instagram i shall send you screen shots and stuff to tell you how to correct it
