A useful tip is to run the heater on full heat and fan speed during last couple minutes of your drive. It dries the condenser quickly, thus removing the moisture build-up which causes the damp, musky odour in the cabin AC system...

Air fan on full blast yes, but not necessary to turn on the heater because the heater core sits behind the condenser, so hot air won’t pass through the condenser…..

I use a bunch of Lysol and spray it in through the intake 😂 the foam is probably better, but I don’t have a scoping camera. By the way, what is the product?

Nice Video brother; really informative and direct at the same time! - Here, he is cleaning the AC Evaporator directly using a cleaning foam that kills the bacteria and mold. - The foam will turn into liquid and also evaporate - Others usually do it through the dripper hose, but this should work as well - This is fixing the issue at its "core", changing the cabin filter will not solve the problem. Of course it is worth changing the filter to have a cleaner air, but you will still have mold and bacteria on the evaporator and hence bad smell. - Others also use disinfectant sprays at the air intake; it is just beside the wipers (but you have to take the cabin filter out such that this spray goes through the air intake fan which is under the cabin filter). - The most effective way is to target the evaporator directly as is done in this video.

@@ivanvalverde7018 you can use old r134a instead of new r1234 something, you just have to take out all of that new type of freon out and then put old type in. I know that new type is quite expensive so you can save some $ this way. Only problem is finding mechanic that knows how and wants to do that.

I guess that is one way to do it. another way might be to follow the directions and just replace the filter from behind the glove box like most normal people do

hes not cleaning filter, but condensor, witch is hidden deep beneath dash. condensor is full of bacteria and it smells.

@@dennisblumettu1365 dude condensor/heater core is part of a car. Its not filter... Its made of metal. U dont replace it, u clean it with chemicals. U have to do same for ur house ac to.

@@asmircar1 ok , true but It sayd Is to remove bad smell , normally you change the cabin filter , you know they where kinda designed to do that , and house AC doesn't have that kind of filter like the car , and i think that if you have bad smell in the condenser Is more a leak in the sistem near It

@@dennisblumettu1365 yes, you change cabin filter once or twice a year,AND you clean the condenser once in while (a few years?, or maybe once a year?). Dependes where you live. Is it humid or dry.
