I heard a lot of people having trouble with the process of their PRC License renewal especially OFWs. Luckily, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) made the process easier for everyone through their website:
online.prc.gov.ph/
Don’t forget the following documents when you asked a family member to representative for your application process:
1. 1 Passport Size Photo
2. Authorization Letter/Special Power of Attorney
3. Valid Id for both the applicant and representative
4. Expired PRC License
5. Application Form (from the PRC Website)
6. Application Fee (P450)

Hi! When did you mail your documents to your representative, was it after your application or before? And you mentioned that you also gave your current valid ID din po, did you mail just a photocopy of that?

Hello po! Ask ko lng po im living in the UK and sa contact details ko plng d ako mkanext dahil sa required field ng address ayaw nya tanggapin ang zipcode ko despite choosing the option foreign country. How can i proceed po? I hope u get this.

Good day po..ask ko lng if all ng naka list mo na supporting docs(picture, expired prc etc)..did you send it here sa pinas by mail/hard copy?..or a scanned copy will do?..tnx a lot

Hi Shirley, you need to send it through mail. Di kasi nila inaaccept that time yung mga scanned copies. You are welcome.

Hi hello since we are here in abroad how can we pay online? I think I saw only Philippine banks.I’m here in U.S. A.do they accept credit cards?

Hi Ms Raquel. In my case, I sent money to my relative who helped me with my renewal. So your representative will use credit card in the Philippines, I think its possible. But from abroad, I dont think its possible. :)

Naggaling po ako sa PRC office as representative para i claim ang renewal ID ng kapatid ko na nasa abroad dala ang SPA, application form printed at reciept ng payment. However, ang sabi ng staff e kailangan daw e PRC holder as well. Grabe ang protocol this time kaya abala gawa ng hahanap pa ako ng friend na PRC holder para mag claim ng ID ng kapatid ko. Ewan ko kung iba iba procedure sa bawat PRC office. Kasi some nakuha naman nila using valid ID and didn't ask na dapat ang representative ay PRC holder din.

Hi, thanks for the comment. I heard there is no law with the renewal of your license. So its best to email PRC regarding your situation. Or ask a family member to phone for faster response! Sorry, and I pray for positive outcome. :)

Hi, good day! Ask ko lang po about prc renewal may transaction na po ako at paid na. Location sa PRC Las Pinas. Currently nasa abroad po. Pipiliin ko po sana yung delivery. Pero nagkamali po. Magagawan pa po nag paraan? Please help po. Thanks in advance.

Hi. You can call PRC office in the Philippines to confirm. Pero based sa experience, you cannot edit the delivery details after payment. You can cancel it and reschedule again, though.

Will the claiming be on the same day of the initial registration date appointed teach?

Technically, No. It will take weeks before you are notified of the claiming date. Usually, submit mo muna requirements through your representative na mentioned sa authorization letter mo. Then they will notify you on the claiming date. :)

Hello po. Representative po ako ng ate ko para maclaim yung renewed ID niya. Okay lang po ba yung drivers license ID niya sa Canada yung gamitin bukod sa ibang valid ID’s?

Hi po, ask ko lang po.nagwowork po ako here sa abroad and unfortunately po dpo ako makakuha ng spa kc po lockdown dahil sa pandemic. Is it possible po if ung sister ko ang kumuha ng spa sa pinas? And panu po ung authorization letter pwede po ba send tru email then print out ng sister ko para un lang ipresent?thank u po..

I think its possible pero they still need to send you the SPA to sign it on your own. I think mas better to make SPA dito sa mga lawyer’s office although medyo expensive talaga siya. Keep safe. :)

Hello. May nabasa ksi ako na ang sabi pag ang authorized person mo daw ay meron din VALID na PRC ID no need na daw ng SPA. Totoo po ba ito?

First time ko lang po narinig na may ganitong rule. Sorry bro, mas better siguro to call them directly. If ever, they might have additional requirements if sumobra sa limit for renewal period. Although, wala naman sigurong ganoong rule. 👍🏻

Hindi po, I know someone personally na nakarenew ng PRC license nia she's a Nurse. 9 years expired yung kanya at kakarenew lang last month

Hi Hanah X Summer! Thank you sa comment mo. Yung authorization is for registration. If you live abroad, and can’t go back to the Philippines to renew your license, pwede ka gumawa ng Authorization for a relative to claim it for you. Then sa claiming, the same person can claim it using the same authorization letter. Ganun ginawa ko. :) Uy di ka bobo, confused ka lang sa process. Dont worry. ✌🏻

Hi Thank you sa comment. If sa ibang bansa po kayo nagpagawa ng SPA ay need niyo parin isend ang original document by air/sea mail. Hindi auhorized ang SPA if by email. Thank you. :)

Need kasi talaga ang sign mo sa document, based sa experience ko. Sa email kasi di siya actual sign. Di ko lang alam ang process if PRC holder din ang representative. But just to be safe, better na actual document ang isubmit para less hassle. :)

@@leizelquijano4976 Gnun din mga nabasa ko. If ang authorized person ay my PRC no need na daw ng SPA. By the way ok na ba PRC mo? Ksi mg expire prc ko next month (December) kaya ng sesearch ako kung paano. OFw din ako.
