Pro tip: when putting the glue back into the container, turn it the other way around then lay it on the cap.

Pretty much what I was thinking. But wanted to see someone else do it. Found some clean broken ray bans today! Woohoo

This is very, very strong. Can hold two fingers together. Once applied, can not redo it. Red cap can be used as a holder, must be upright. When storing keep upright, with pin 📌 up. The tip certainly will dry. To reuse later, cut ✂️ the tip with a sharp knife 🔪.

Mine snapped off and I’m literally crying because I’m so stressed out Edit: update, i went to the optician and they couldn’t fix them. It wasn’t my turn for an eye test yet and technically i wasn’t allowed one. Luckily though, my eyesight has gotten better! I picked 2 of the same glasses that were the same as the one i broke aahha. Don’t worry guys! 💞

To sum up: Wear gloves and hold “Crazy Glue” on break for 40 seconds & wait 5 minutes.

Another hack tip: for that super glue used in this video. The orange cap that is pulled off from the hard plastic tube should be used as the glue holding stand, that helps prevent it from spilling or drying up.

Add baking soda to the wet glue and it'll be hard as a rock in seconds and can be filed or sanded.

Do not use crazy glue to fix your glasses. It can void any kind of warranty you may have on them. Only use if you need a temporary fix and you know you are getting new glasses.

This is my 3rd glasses and I broke it😔 It was literally on my face and the hinge broke, maybe the glasses wasn't a perfect fit. I'm too scared to tell my parents like seriously 3 broken glasses in a span of only 3 years? I'm too careless bruh this glasses that we bought is also expensive, much much more expensive than my past 2 glasses. You can probably buy a meal worth 1-2 weeks with the money used to buy this glasses and I broke it only after 3 months. I can't tell my parents, not because I'll make them mad but because I'll disappoint them. It's hard to earn money in this pandemic situation. Fortunately we don't have face to face classes yet. I'll just try to tape my glasses up and wont use it outside of the room except when they close the lights outside it's impossible to see the tape in a dark room. I'll just do well with my studies and see if I can at least get into top 10 of the class so then I can tell them about my broken glasses and probably lessen the anger and disappointment. It's impossible to fix this with super glue, epoxy or anything without my father knowing about it. I I literally am a disappointment, been doing bad in school, been breaking stuffs at home and when I am about to change and do better I break a super expensive glasses? 😐

Cyanoacrylate (superglue) isn't the best adhesive for acetate frames. Just use acetone. Hold the glasses breaks into the acetone for two minutes and then stick together for two minutes. Let set for 24hrs. This will melt the acetate edges together.

Never use glue! It can damage the lens..also it isn’t a permanent fix.. glasses could fall apart at any time. Even when driving

I made a case for my glasses with a hot glue gun, cuz last time i tried to fix my glasses with super glue it got all over my lenses and ruin those too :( oof

You'd also want to cover your lense while using the glue.. talking from experience once the glue gets over your lenses it won't come off easily 💔

Dont be sad, it's a Very interesting clip that it can't be fixed and it's left. Crazy glue couldn't fix it. Seagle debonder breaks down such glue
