Complete disassembly & assembly of Bosch Kitchen Machine MUM5 Series. Replacement of plastic gears from kit 12042424 (carbon brushes are NOT included in the kit).

In case you have worn carbon brushes, you need to replace both carbon brushes (pair of 2), spare part number is 00622180 or 00638020.

Klasse, das mit den zwei schwarzen Pinzetten war der Ausschlag gebendePunkt, Vielen Dank, hab da ne halbe Stunde lang probiert bevor ich den Hinweis gesehen habe

Es ist ein Trick, um es einfacher zu machen. Eine andere Möglichkeit wäre, drei Hände zu haben :D

Super Video, mit dieser Anleitung konnte ich unsere Küchenmaschine reparieren. Kleines Manko: am Ende hatte ich eine Dichtung übrig (schmal. großer Durchmesser), die m.E. über den grauen Gehäusedeckel gehört (bei der Demontage war sie zu sehen). Aber keine Problem: unter Anleitung nochmal die paar Schritte zurück gegangen.

Thanks a lot for the great video. After proceeding to repair, the tool do not seem to come back correctly to fixed position upon turning button to off, what may I have missed ? Note that the brown and blue wires in the video are both black in my case (MUM5XW20/06), but switching them do not seem to have any effect.

Hello, dont understand what you exactly mean, what is problem? It can be regulated? It turn on/off correctly? Yes, it is +/- cable (no earth), so you can turn plug upside or downside, doesnt matter which cable is where

Hello, thank you for your great video. I have a problem when inserting the tool to mix dough or the other tool to mix cream. I cannot insert it completely even if I force. Do you think I need to replace this part or do you think it's something else ? Thank you in advance and I wish you a great continuation, you're doing a good job.

Hello, thank you for compliment 👍 Your MUM5 has damaged plastic gear (holder of whisk), that part you see from bottom of machine. That part (00177503) cost few € (it is one part of this kit: proex.sk/produkt/montazna-sada-mum5-12020287-bosch/) or in gear set: 00622181 Probably it is broken and you can already see it if you look closely from bottom (place where you are trying to insert tool for mix cream). That kit (used in video) is more expensive than only that broken part but many times I have to replace more parts than just one (what can I find out only after disassembly). So in final it is better to buy kit of gears instead of 1 spare part.

Me ha servido para poder desmontar la parte de arriba del brazo. Mi problema es que mi varilla se ha quedado encajada y no sale ni forzándola. Qué podría hacer para sacarla?

when i bend with the drive shaft (on the mixer end side) there is a lot of play between the ring and the shaft. Is this normal or do I need to replace the shaft? thanks for the opinion.

@@proexservis it's part no. 0221. on the side without the screw it is threaded through a metal ring. There is about two millimeters of space between this ring and the axle and I can move the axle sideways - is this ok?

So you mean rotor? It is not ok, part 00653825 have to be fixed in motor body (in stator). If you mean different part, then send me picture of it to mail: martin@proex.sk

Просто ужас сколько пластика,да вес может и меньше,но видимо они не зотят что бы люди пользовались долго инструмантами,есши бы шестерни хотя бы были мндными или алюминевыми то было бы лучше конечно.Но блин одно разочарование хотел кухоный комбайн но теперь перехотелось.Если Конечно на заказ заказать с делать шестерни из метала,но на врятли корпус выдержит нагрузку он и так хлипкий при работе.

только более высокие модели (более дорогие) имеют металлические шестерни… эти пластиковые, по крайней мере, защитят мотор от повреждений 🤔 only higher models (more expensive) have metal gears… these plastic ones will at least protect the motor from damage 🤔
