The correct fuses are available , old ali express, couple of quid, ,delivery isn't that quick though , bit stubborn but they do flick out and push fit

I have a makita with (18v _ 3.0 A) and i buy a new batrie but it is ( 5.0 A) . I want to know if it is will work

Only 4ah have these fuses, doesn't apply / work with other Makita batteries, board change is the only option for the others

i lost already three (!) expensive original makita batteries with this issue. since then i try to find quality replacement batteries.

That tiny wire will act as a fuse… burn and break the connection.
