This pipe in Australia is commonly called POLY PIPE is cheap easy to use and is one of the " GREATEST " problems a farmer WILL EVER HAVE. During summer heat it stretches and in winter it shrinks both of which cause leakage. You can rarely fix it without having to buy NEW COUPLINGS / JOINERS as you cant just get the internal seal. On a large property you may not find the leak until you have a pond or lush grass where you shouldn't and a large water bill as water IS NOT CHEAP IN AUSTRALIA.
