Hi, thank you a lot for the video! When reassembly the lens, does one need to add some lubrication between the rings? If yes, what kind of lubrication do you suggest?

To whoever made this video Thank you for the quality of it. No words, good music, crazy video quality and great job in fixing lens, looks complex but fascinating. I came here cause I have dust/sth in between the superficial covers so when I zoom, it makes a strange sound. Any tips?

Hi, Before trying to disassemble my 18-270mm Di II Tamron, I would like to know if the working approach is notably similar as the 200mm one to proceed in the same way you do. It fell down and the zoom mechanism is now very hard to use. Thanks

Hello , no , there is a two completely different lenses. , but you can try to fix it :)

I also use this lens for my Nikon D90, but its focus mechanism has broken, the focus ring cannot be adjusted in Manual mode. In Auto mode it works nicely. Do you know what is broken inside?

Hello Thank you for the question. The problem may be is in the focus ring and the F gear. So, the estimation will be around 80 euro.

Hi, I have this lens and I have a problem with autofocus. It doesn't work, but not exactly it's like the AF motor is weak to move the focus. If you get little help to move focus sometimes it gets to do some movement. Any advice on what to check?

May i know how to clean the lens. My lens have fungus and i want to remove only the lens. Do i have to disassemble it all?

hi, depends of the fungus inside. it is recommended to clean all the lens groups. Then you'll need to make AXIS adjustment (special equipment) for better resolution of the lens.

My copy has the following problem with AF: Around 130-135mm the autofocus does frequently not work. Oftentimes it helps, when I shake the lens. This problem only comes up between 130-135 mm. Do you have any suggestions what the defect could be?
