USB Type-C cables only support USB 2.0 (up to 480 Mbit/s) and do not support Alternate Modes.
USB 2.0 at least 5 V and up to 500 mA (think legacy USB 2.0) USB 3.1 supports 5 V and 900 mA. USB-C supports two different power profiles: 5 V and 1.5 A or 5 V and 3 A.
USB Type C 2.0 support video A USB-C connector, Revision 2.0 does support video output.Only USB-C port with USB 3.1 or above version can stream video. USB 3.1 or above versions support DP Alt Mode feature.
USB 2.0 is a speed. USB-C is a connector. It's possible a device with a USB-C connector uses USB 2.0 speed, or USB 3.2 speed. USB 2.0 is often seen with USB-A type connectors on sources, and USB-B on peripherals like a printer or scanner.
The USB 2.0 cable charging power is up to 240W. With advanced technology, you can enjoy blazing-fast charging. For there are no 240W supported of devices, the max power is designed for future devices. But still, you can get the fastest charging with this type-c cable.
USB 2.0 offers a transfer rate of about 480 Mbps, whereas USB 3.0 offers a transfer rate of about 4,800 Mbps which is equal to about 5 GB. This super-fast transfer speed of USB 3.0 can be especially useful when backing up or transferring large amounts of data, such as an external hard driveAll USB-C cables must be able to carry a minimum of 3 A current (at 5 V, for 15 W) but some can carry 5 A current (at 20 V, for 100 W).USB 3.0 is a Universal Serial Bus (USB) data transfer standard commonly used for computer peripherals. Mostly found on USB-A or USB-C type connectors, USB 3.0 has undergone several revisions and supports speeds between 5 and 20 Gbps. USB 3.0 is also known as SuperSpeed USB.

@@jonathandoda8762 Soldering iron's tip should be very fine like if you want to solder an IC (integrated chip) , as you can see type C's solder to that circuit was very minute and small. Hence search for some micro soldering machines on Amazon.

Super helpful video! :) What gray material did you mix with the M-Seul epoxy compound for a new seal? I'm sadly novice to this process and atm simply need to refasten a cable's smaller male input that comes off, but it still charges perfectly if a little pressure is applied to a phone/device.

When you broke the four-wire cable for charging and data transmission, you made the following mistake: 1) on contact D- you replaced the green electric wire (white electric wire goes to D-), 2) you replaced the white electrical wire on D+ (the green electrical wire goes to D+).

You are also wrong the the wires are crossed, positive to negative, white wire goes from D- on one side to D+ on the other and the same for the green cable but on the other board.

The D+ is data positive and the D- is data negative. Data is transferred in duplex technically there is no positive and negative here. One side sends pulses down the negative to the positive and the other side does the same. Basically two one way streets in opposite directions. For how the data is sent is explained by digital technology.

the red and black they sure the power tracks right? but what if i disconnect the both of them i just need the two data tracks for using the cable to read data only from a small camera to my smart phone with type c OTG in the USD A and this camera has a small battery that always charging my smart phone 😬⛔📵 I don't wanna charge it from the camera's battery? so if i disconnected the two power tracks and left the two data transfer tracks is this gonna work or some cable needs the the power tracks with the two data tracks to help with transfer data? umm i hope you got what i mean pls i need your help 🙏

You shouldn't move the cables while soldering a connection. Always use a "3rd hand", a fixing device with clamps. As you can see from the black cable, this otherwise will result in a bad connection. Why such amateur performance in an otherwise skilled video?
