@@Luezzy Did you figure out what the problem was? I have a similar problem. Disassembled the whole thing, but could not find anything. Now, I am thinking it might be the door mechanism although at first glance it does not seem to be the issue...

@@willyortiz1022 a technician checked it and said it something with the main board and its not worth the fixing, finnally we got new one also Zanussi, in my opinion it might be something else but i dont have the spare parts and im not gonna test each part to solve the issue. hope it helped dude.

​@@Luezzy I had to call a technician. For reference and for others this is what I did: The flashing start/pause button was the original issue on this Zanussi (model ZDH7332P), so dryer would not come on. He replaced the Tumble Dryer Condensation Pump (1258349214), then the door lock mechanism and lastly the Control Board (916097396). This last one when he first tried, it did not work as it did not come with the firmware (kind of weird). So he had to come back a few days later with another board. In all, it cost me 60 euros for the diagnostics and the part 163 euros. If I would have known this time and cost, I would have bought a new drier. Thanks for the input. in general, the diagnostics capabilities of this brand (Zanussi) is pretty crappy. Next I will buy a siemens.
