I found if you tilt the top of the strip away from the cab that the clip pops right out. Then just follow the video. Did all four on my '07 double cab in less than ten minutes. GREAT VIDEO!

These fit perfectly!! The only complaint I have is on me for not realizing how simple this was. First one took 4-5 minutes, other 3 doors took 2 minutes max. So simple and easy!!!!

Well done. To the point both in video and audio. A rare quality lacking in so many of these DIY videos that seem to ramble on, rather than be informative. I look forward to your inspection of the internal door components video.

Thank you for your videos. You talk slow enough and your voice is so easy on the ears. My husband is Mexican and although he has been here in the states for 23 years his English is no where he says it is. He likes to do as much work on his trucks as he can. He followed your illustrations and even understood your words so perfectly. He was happy when I found your videos because everyone else, either hid what they were working on, or would talk so loud , didn't know hw to really explain, or a couple of them I changed just because they gave off such an egotistical vibe I felt they needed a few less views, so I took care of that for them. Thank you again for being so clear and your camera angles are on spot. Keep on doing it. I'm sure he'll need videos for other things.

Andrew thank you for the instructional video. I appreciate you. FYI, I went to the dealer this afternoon to ask how much would it cost to have one of the rear passenger belt molding/window weatherstrip replaced. The TOYO dealer informed me that it would be 20 dollars for the part and about a 1hr of labor (approx. $120 USD) to do one door, because it would entail removing the inside door panel to get to the supporting clips of the molding. I am glad I waited, and did not pulled the trigger on having them replace the one dry-rotted weatherstrip. Thank you buddy.

I just replaced these on my tundra yesterday and they don't seem to want to stay all the way down in the middle. Are they supposed to hook/squeeze into something or use some kind of adhesive?
@herrtrigger72202 жыл бұрын
Great video man. When you pull the old ones out use needle nose pliers to grab the inside rubber part that runs the length of the window or it will fall down inside the hollow body of the door and rattle around when you open and close. Don't ask me how I know this.
