How to replace a 2005 Scion xA Climate Control Illumination Bulb

8 жыл бұрынIn this short video I will show you to to replace a burnt out 1.8 watt LED bulb (the one that illuminates the climate control dials) in a 2005 Scion xA.
Tools Needed:
-A new bulb (part number: 90010-01082) I bought mine from here:
parts.smarttoyo...
-Flat plastic wedging tool
-Phillips Screwdriver
-Flathead Screwdriver

use a slotted screwdriver as stated at 4:48. The bulb will release with a quarter turn.

The posted part number appears to be the wrong one for my 06 XB (same with 05 XA). The actual one is 90010-01122.

Related question.....I'm chasing down an irritating dash squeak right in front of the driver under the dash. My thought was to remove the radio so I can get my arm into a large opening to maybe push a wiring harness or AC tube around on the inside.... or fit some foam wedges inside. Anyway....is this the "path" to get to the radio mounts to remove the radio?

i guess u have to figure out how to take the light bulb out yourself
