Replace the Audi A6 C7 gear knob to the facelift version C7.5 DIY
Did not like the look of the c7 gear knob. Wanted the facelift version. Perfect fit after a little modification.

I did this today. Very easy took me maybe 5 minutes. Just have to be patient while heating the plastic bit

Can u describe what you were doing where it took a couple of tries and you had to stick your key in the new shifter?

I needed to ”reload” the click on mecanism because I failed the first try to click it on.

I got a question right, is it possible to remove the handle part from the leather so i can change the handle, let say if the leather part has a hole in it?.

Piotr Sadowski witam mógłbyś rozwinąć jaki miałeś problem i czy poradziłeś sobie z nim.Chce wiedzieć bo planuje wymienić gałkę z 2014 S line na 2015+ S line tylko używaną i nie wiem czy się wogóle zabierać za to dodam że przycisk w używce 2015 planuje odciągnąć klejem na gorąco i wtedy go czymś zablokować przed założeniem dzięki z góry za pomoc

Would this work on a 2012 A7 where the knob has to be pushed to the right to engage sport? I see you're shifting down from D to engage sport.

Hi! The quality is very good. And it is cheap. Shifting is the same as original, exept the button is on the front of knob. Great upgrade. The car was wrecked before christmas, but I bought myself a new. And I will do the same with the new one.
