If you dont have the piston stoper , you can go to any hardwear store and get a ( 10mm bolt fine tread 1.0.pitch ) . It does the same job , no need for complicaring wire

If the brake is slightly engaged, it's the brake pads that wear not the clutch.

No, don't use a wire!!! Buy the piston stop. In a bind, some small diameter, soft rope or cording.

I have a HSP BJ5S and it's only a few days old and already it has problems . The main gear for the clutch has a square but with two grub screws and they come loose and the cog just spun like it had shit the clutch . In Fack the clutch was fine . The in side of the square nut is like I mill to big so I had to fill that gap and try get the square nut for the drive cog to site square on the shaft . Not easy I tell you .. but l got it and tomorrow is another day ..thanks the gavman

2 things 1 it could brake a ring or the wire brakes and you have a stuffed motor or to piston gets stuck and you have a stuffed motor just buy a piston stop they dont cost that much.

I can move my clutch bell in and out as with the pinion gear, until I have time to find out why can you tell me what might be the problem?

yep worn bearings or maybe a worn clutch go to your local hobby shop and just ask them what the maybe causing it to wobble.

That’s fine. Just make sure your pinion gear is fully seated on the clutch bell. I’ve built 3 bajas and they all do this, no matter what clutch system I’m using. I like the turtle racing the best. The pinion gear is keyed with the clutch bell so just make they sure that they are tight and loctite the bolt.

NEVER PUT ANYTHING INTO THE CHAMBER USE THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB JUST BUY A PISTON STOP FROM EBAY OR YOUR HOBBY SHOP.
