The only tool you need is something to help pry the battery out of the fob, which I used a very small flathead screwdriver. This job is super simple and easy and is part of general maintenance that everyone should do themselves.

A dead battery in your key fob is an absolutely dumb reason to trade your car in for another car. You can just replace the battery in the key fob for a fraction of the cost and way less trouble than car shopping. I hope this video helped you!
