Thanks for the video. Well shot, nice explanations. Crystal clear instructions. Dunno if my MZR 2.3l.turbo from a Speed 3 is in the same predicament. Looks like I'll have to use my ramps and crap since it's so low. Ima give it a try and give you news if it worked for the 2.3 turbo engine. Cheers brother and thanks again.

Question if I raised my Mazda about a couple of feet or so would that be enough clearance for me? For the underside- I’m tall and skinny.

I raise mine about 12 to 18 inches, but I'm fat and short. Well fat in the belly

thank you so much! This is very helpful info. I have tire chocks, floor jack, jack stands.. if my alternator is an issue I should have enough space to swap out my alternator. Thanks, & God bless you

What year Mazda 3 is this car? At 13:33 if you want to replace the alternator belt you have to remove the A/C belt first......that A/C belt is a stretch-fit so you have to cut the old one off, put on the new alternator belt, then stretch on the new A/C belt. There's a YT video by Jimthecarguy showing that.

No I did not, but typically on most you will have to for a factory radio. Some aftermarket ones like mine store information better.

How about you show the fricken way you got the goddamn starter clip out this is f'ing bs how hard it is to get this damn thing out with the angle and how tight it is ughhhhh!

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I used a pick tool to depress the connector and some long needle nose to gently pull it out. it was a pain and I cussed a bunch during it which is why I had to edit those parts out
