How to Replace a Motorcycle Chain and Sprockets | 1981 Honda CB750K

3 жыл бұрынThe chain and sprockets see a lot of wear when riding a motorcycle. This CB750K has been neglected and it is now a risk to me as a rider. By the end of this video you should understand how to remove and reinstall a chain, front sprocket, and rear sprocket.
Parts Used
Front Sprocket: Honda Part# 23801-445-770
Rear Sprocket: Honda Part# 41200-425-770
Chain: RK 108L 530

You were very fortunate that the nuts were easy to remove from the stud bolts. Most vintage bikes when doing a restoration they are seized onto the stud bolt.

Always have a couple of crescent wrenches xD It makes your life a lot easier when trying to loosen things like your axel nuts ;)

That's chain lube dude. It's supposed to be on there.

If you are replacing the chain entirely, I'd just cut off if it gave me any trouble.
