How to Replace a Window Motor/Regulator (98-02 Honda Accord Coupe)

In this video I will go over how to replace a window motor and regulator assembly on a 2001 Honda Accord. The process is very similar on most makes and models of cars with some differences here and there. I'll explain what window regulators do and why they go bad so you can understand what's really happening behind that door panel.

My window started doing that chatter this morning when I tried to close my window. From the moment your video started, I knew it was going to be exactly what I needed! My Accord is gold, but the interior is the same color as yours, and everything looks exactly like my car, including the dark smudges on the armrest! (One of these days, right?) Very thorough, and you showed everything you were doing. I appreciate that. Overall, outstanding video! Thanks!

So the coupe regulator is completely different than the four door? Wish someone in the 5 videos I allready watched would have mentioned that! All of them were cable operated not ratchet type!

No, I didn’t. I don’t remember what brand I used. I think it was Dorman.
