Thank you for the video and the link to the wheels. Ordered the first set last night. I had the same exact problems plus I don’t have room in the office area for the office chair and my wheelchair. The wheels glide easily when I push backwards. Thank you so much. I ordered my second set this morning for my stool I use when I sit to do dishes or cook at the stove. ❤

holy moly thanks for the vid... once I saw this I was like i have to get... so did just installed them last night. and they are smooth as all hell and the sound of them rolling on the floor is very minimal💯🤟🙏

Appreciate the video. I just bought these; two quick points. One is the weight capacity is 650, not 350. Second, you said they were hard. Yes they feel hard to the touch but actually the reason to get these is that they are polyurethane and NOT as hard as standard casters. That's why they're better, and they definitely are better.

I changed my office chair wheels to roller blade wheels. 100% BETTER now. When they get full of hair, I remove the wheels and soak them in drain cleaner overnight. Come out hair-free.

I had those axel wheels. My wooden floor just got shat on. I upgraded to roller blade wheels yesterday and they seem rlly soft. Hopefully my floor can not be wrecked more now

How do you remove the wheels if they seem stuck on or are very hard to remove? I need to replace my wheels, since one or two of them are scraping the ground no matter how clean we keep them, but we've been unable to pull the wheels off to switch them out. I can't seem to find any sort of video on this, every time I search it, it just comes up with how to clean them or easily remove them. Thank you.

Hi Jay and thanks for the video. I use a rug under my desk and chair and the wheels on my new chair will barely move on it. I need to glide along lol. Do you think the wheels you recommended would work and be smoother on carpet than the standard plastic wheel? thanks so much in advance

Hi, the silver plated shafts that slide into the holes for the ones I ordered seem to be the same width as the ones on my chair however I can't get them to fit (slide in). The ones I bought see to be the approximately the same width. Any suggestions?

Use some force. You might have to tap them in with a rubber hammer. If you don't have a rubber hammer, just use a towel or something wrapped around the head of a regular hammer.

I don't know what the problem is but i can't budge any of the plastic casters on a couple of used office chairs we have. Replaced casters before when i lived in the U.S but now in the Philippines it's like these casters have been glued in or something, seems like the casters will break before they come out.

My biggest problem with the plastic wheel is the dirty, I wonder if those rollerblade wheels can help me with that

The pin of the wheel was left inside while the wheel was already pulled out. Already tried putting oil & pulling out also using flat screw driver, still the pin is still stuck in the chair. How to remove the wheel so I can replace the wheel

That sounds unfortunate. I have replaced wheels in about 6 desk chairs now without that happening. My only recommendation would be to use something like vise grips to get a hold of it to pull it out.

My girlfriend moved in the wrong direction with these wheel and they catch easy on hardwood and the opens the hole the caster goes into so wide that the chair no longer sits flat and my base is metal just a warning when they worked they worked great tho

Use a screwdriver or butter knife and pry them off. It's easy. That's how I do it.

They are great, one thing I will say is, they are substantially taller than the older wheels. They almost make my new chair too tall for me, and I'm 6'4".

Interesting. I do know that it increases height some, but I am 5'7" and mine still works good for me.

I did it. I squirted a little of WD-40 in the wheel recess first to help lube the new wheel’s post

Never throw useful items to landfills unless u don’t care about ur kids or grandkids future. Just drop them off to a thrift store. They get used computer desk chairs with broken or lost wheels. Try to recycle anything that’s useful. Bag things up and drop in a bin. Many places pick up too. Many offices like police offices do not buy new chairs. They sit on old torn chairs many times. Many businesses r like that.
