How to replace display unit on Turboant X7 Pro, HX X8, Levy, Decent and all similar e-scooters

If your e-scooter stops working or develops a fault then you may have to replace the display controller. But fear not, as this is a fairly simple job that anyone with a few basic tools can master.
This video show you how to replace the controller on the HX X8 or Turboant X7 Pro e-scooter. This scooter is manufactured by HX and they rebrand it for other companies so if you have a similar looking scooter such as a Levy, Decent or Riley then this video is also for you.

My display is good but my kid broke the dark clear cover that is on top... I can't find it anywhere! Even email turboant and nothing in responce.. sense I never seen this part by its self either can you lead me in the direction where I can find the cover..id appreciate any help you can give..thanks in advance.. its an x7 pro basically same as one in vid

I have the Decent x7 scooter, battery not charging despite red then green light on charger coming on.

Once the dashboard has been changed it displays this code: EA = Communication error between the display and the cruise control. Do you think you can do something?

I don't know if safe to do that but, I change my 36v batterie by a 48v and it work

Horizon Micro..... i have a question Dear, first thanks for your wonderful video it helps us very well. i want to repair my e scooter like yours this one and i need to understand well that what dose it mean or how to be matching the controller with display? for example i have here in-front of my table the controller written on it X8-T010-k-v3-1* and the display which came together says on it HX7-T011-Y25-v3-1* . Is it OK to continue repairing the escooter?????? please i need your help.

There are different manufactures so need to make sure they are from the same

Not sure you can to be honest. You would need to disconnect the lcd display.

No. You can’t do that

Only the manufacturer needs to be same. These are three initials on the controller and display. You need to make sure manufacturer is same on cont and display. I’m sorry but can’t really offer remote support.

I have a same model named Augment Es 210 Super lr with is locked. If I change the unit display the escooter will be unlock? Had I to change something on the unit display?

You need to change max speed setting to FF. may not be possible if your brand has it set differently.
