Shave the square seat, especially the sides/egde back from the tank. will make it a more comfortable ride and easier to get on and off. Use that electric turkey knife that's never been used, for cutting the foam ;-)

Think? Really? It doesn't have much foam to begin with. I cant imagine removing more!

He is going to be so much happier riding that now that it fits him. Well done! You should at least move the rear bolt on yours and drop the front as well. You’ll have so much more control over a bike that fits you.

Great job Kyle and if anyone going to do seals don't by the cheap ones as I have had mates put them in and they start leaking very easily love the bike mod I just been for a trail ride in the weekend here in malboura south island New Zealand we have some great rides here

"Cold rainy day", I don't believe it! Great Video! The bike definetly looks lower as he is riding it down the road. In comparison, I just had fork seals repaced on my Suzuki DL650 Vstrom by a bike shop and it cost over $400.

Holy cow! That's not cheap, eh? But that's what I've been hearing.. Quite a bit of work and needing to scrap the front end!

I am working at lowering my Dr 650. I bought little longer dog bones. But I want to lower the forks also. I ride on desert roads and lowering should not be a issue. I am 6ft. Tall with a 30 inch inseam and I am 65 years old. I also use a 5 gallon gas tank that works out good for rides to Death Valley. I would like to trick my carb but don't want to lose fuel economy. Any and all feedback is good.
