8:30 you dont even need to use those rings, they are only there to keep the rotors in place when on the assembly line. Once the lugs are tight the rotor will be tight.

First time doing rear brakes/rotors in a manual transmission car. Does it matter if the emergency brake is engaged?

No it shouldn’t matter either way, u can put it in gear or set your e brake. Make sure to scotch your front wheels if you’re not on a level surface

This was helpful in watching the process!! Thank you! (Please use jacks stands next time - don’t rely solely on the jack!! Mine has failed before) Also don’t forget to bed the pads after installing.

I changed my pads on front and back on my 2009 corvette and I have no fluid getting to the rear tires .it has baffled me no air was introduced to the system. Any ideas?

My rear rotor took over an hour to get out didn’t have those lugs one it had to hammer so much

Yeah, instead of a hammer I normally use a mallet and it comes off okay.. but if the car sat for long it was probably partially rusted on there

Hey bro, I have some stop tech rotors and pads on mine. After a couple of months the fronts are shiny, but the rears are kinda rusty even after some fun driving and hard braking. Any ideas as to why?

I would maybe check your rear brake lines/ pads/ caliper pistons and make sure everything looks fine and no lines are leaking
