Good video, watched it just to see the difficulty of accessing the V6 plugs and seeing if you had major difficulty with any, very detailed and good advice.

Thanks for the feedback, the right side was not difficult. I thought the left side was going to be tough but actually it was not bad either. With patience and the right tools it can be done no problem

Do you have to do the spark plugs in order? / does it effect the way the car will run if i put them in top to bottom rather than bottom to top

Does not have to be done in order. Just do one at a time so you dont get the wires mixed up. Good luck and thanks for the comment

I wonder if the setup in 02 Explorer Sport is the same. I been wanting to do a spark plug change.

Yea im sure its very similar. The process still is the same on all vehicles. Changing spark plugs

@@carrosdiecast3650 Mines a 95 Xlt 4.0 4wd....i'm restoring it and debating if I should sell it or keep it. 1 owner 135k and I got it for free. I put on new shocks front and back, changed all the fluids in it and next is the spark plugs, coil pack and wires! Thanks for this nice video bro.... it looks like a pain to do them plugss! Egr ....I like to change them too...... Any idea what size wrench i need for the bolt? Thanks man!

@@bigfootswatching9986 to be honest this 94 explorer has been ver very reliable. The engine has plenty of power and the gear shift smoothly. It has 278k miles. No complaint here

@@bigfootswatching9986 i think 2nd gens are still good looking SUVs specially if it was free. If i was you i would keep it. Now days cars are very expensive!and thanks for the support!

I highly recommend you do. The engine will last forever if you do these maintenances

@@nickfortunato2938 thats amazing! . My explorer has 287k miles and drives like a champ! Not sure how many more miles ill get out of it though

@@carrosdiecast3650 it's not unheard of them getting 3,4 or 500,000, I seen a '94 wrecked Explorer at Copart with 600,000 if it wasn't for the fact that it was totaled it was still in good shape

@@nickfortunato2938 wow that would be great to get that many miles out of a vehicle. Time will tell i guess. Do you know if the 89 2.9l v6 engines are just as reliable?
