Very good information. I have a 2006 X5. 75,000 miles or 134,000 kilometers. I get the smell of hot oil constantly. No smoke and no oil spots on the driveway. Could this possibly mean the intake gaskets are leaking?

Hello my friend, after unscrewing the spark plugs, it does not have its type written on it. If it is platinum or iridium, how do I know its type?

hey there thank you for the amazing video , is there any order that the spark plugs have to be in and I am having an issue with my bmw x5 2001 where I have to pump gas pedal while starting in order to start

ToffiTube just start from Front and work your way to the back one at a time. As far as it not starting I would start by pulling the code. Sounds like your oil separator under the intake is leaking vacuum. That's a very common problem.

How to Automotive thank you for taking the time to get back to me , okay I will do that I'm and give it a try as it Wil be my first time and for the starting problem it only happens when the other is warmer the car would start but rough idle so I have to give it a little gas in order to start and sometime I have to pump the gas pedal while starting in order for it to start i have lots of codes my old mechanic said that charged me money and didn't fix the problem so I will get my own scanner and let you know of the codes, I know for sure one of them is the crankshaft position sensor , also what other service do you recommend doing while doing spark plugs as a maintenance tuneup, thank you for your time

ToffiTube there's not much more to do tune up wise maybe check the air filter. If you follow the dipstick tube down to where it mounts to the block there is a hose that comes off the dipstick and Leeds up underneath the intake manifold and that where it brakes and causes of severe back and leg. That'll make it run rough on idol.
