In this video we demonstrate how to replace the handle on a Stokke Xplory. We disassemble the mechanism talking about aroius parts and their functions as we go, replace the handle and then show you how to correctly reassemble the mechanism.

I took out the pole with the 2 pins and now the pole is not low enough. So when I put them together I can't adjust the height of the handle bar. What can I do to fix this please?

GREAT VIDEO! THANKS for explaining step by step with such clarity. I lubricated the inside of the handle with food grease and sprayed WD-40 down the shaft. Only thing I can't figure out is, once you remove the screw in the shaft, how do you take out that cap?

Do you mean the external top plate (with the 2 screws under the frontal handle height lever), if so you just pull it backwards without pulling the lever up. If not, let me know, and I'll try to explain it better / make a video :)

@@BarnevognverkstedNo Mine creaked not only in the handle but further down, where you recommended to apply the silicone spray. My stroller looks different, and it only has one screw in the middle section, I'm now thinking I'm not supposed to take this cap out, but just lubricate around it. Then you said the bottom section has eight screws which may be loosened a bit to get the silicone spray down it . I sprayed the entire neck of the chassis down with WD-40 but still creaks a bit in the middle section. Do you think the silicone spray will be more effective than the WD-40? I wasn't able to do grease in the middle section, because I couldn't figure out how to remove the cap, but I'm thinking the silicone spray may do the trick.

How can you fix the handle wobbling side to side? I’ve just bought a v6. I was going to buy the X but watched your reviews and went with the fixed wheel 6 but the handle has movement and making an awful creaking noise.

Yes. Xplory triggers are next in line for videos, should be going up within the next couple days :)

Easyjet just broke the Part below the handlebar and I cant find any replacement

Contact Stokke customer service - they'll either give you the price of repair, or otherwise the price for a new chassis - in either case you'll have the cost in writing, then contact Easyjet and make them pay for it. :)

Hello, the pole inside the arm that makes handle higher or lower is loose. Its suppose to be connected to something at the bottom i think. How do I access that metal pole?
