You did the easy side. I had to look up another video which involved removing the headlamp to replace the bulb.

@@splashe How lucky, mine was more complicated, actually have to remove clamps right behind the bulbs and then worm through the wiring to get it put back together. Probably should have done both at the same time because a few months later they both went. 🤬

Thank you for the help! Light went out on my 2012 and this was easy breezy. Unfortunately it was on the fuse box side, but thankful you choose to do that side!

Hi Belle, I have also changed the other side, It was much easier to undo the fusebox and move it out the way just enough to get your hand in there, sorry i did not make a video of that side. Ross

I can't remember the last time I got as frustrated as I did just now changing my headlights. #1 went fine, but the one behind the fuse box had somehow managed to get the spring clip forced through between the wires. I couldn't open the spring clip enough to get the plug off, and I couldn't pull the plug far enough to untangle the spring clip. It's -2 F (-18 C) so I had to wear gloves. I was about ready to lose my mind by the time I bent the clip out of shape enough to get it out. Then I had to force it back into position to get it closed again. Dress shoes were a good choice for office work today, but not ideal for this application. My toes still hurt from the cold. 0.03/10 experience. Not recommended. Video was great though, 10/10

Hi Jose, Sorry I should have made the video showing that, it would appear the easiest way is to loosen the fusebox by the 10mm bolts and squeeze your hand in there, but it isn't east. I would recommend disconnecting the battery to do it.

You should've done the other side, where the fuse box makes it almost impossible. I watched your video, got the left in like two seconds, but it took me a half an hour to get the other in.

Yup. I had no problem with the passenger side (American). but I'm still struggling with the driver side cuz I can't get my hand down there. Trying to figure out if I need to take the fuse box out to make some more room or if I just need to scrape my knuckle some more, lol.

@@ericfleet9602 I watched another video where the guy removes two 10 mm bolts holding the headlight housing, he can then pull it upwards giving more access to the drivers side dust cap - and that is the strategy I am going to use.... seemed to be just enough to get the job done, not EASY, but much better.

@@ericfleet9602 I did it today, the bolt removal only gave an extra maybe 1/4-1/2" of space, still scraped my knuckles lol, but I got it done, i doubt ny dad's hands would fit so i can see how it's easier for some than others.. a nice small womans hand would likely have zero issues lol.

I have always been able to do the left side. My issue is that I simply can't get into the right side to change this one! Some hints and tips on how to get this difficult die changed would be great.

Hi Carrie, really sorry I could only do the left one, one handed whilst filming, I have changed one before it was easier to disconnect the battery and loosen the fuse box 10mm nuts to be able to get my hand in there. if you do try this remember to disconnect the battery first. Ross

Thanks :) its just a locating section of the cover, Also if you need to do the other side it is much easier to loosen the fuse box, obviously being careful of any live terminals. Ross

Take the two bolts at the top of the headlight housing and then lift the whole housing up slightly so you can fit your hand in.

Remove both bolts on fuse box move it over to access the round panel for bulb replacement. You don't need to remove entire headlamp assembly for access

Hi there, it really depends on the LED replacement, some are a direct fit, I have not had the best experience with the light quality that comes from them, that said I have never tried some of the top end bulbs. Sorry I cannot be of more help. Ross

Thanks for the video. I had to change the left headlight today and it was ridiculous. Why would they make the space too small to access. I had to get my 12 year old girl to reach in and pull the old light out. Ridiculous design.
