I just use a $7 photocell adapter that screws into the socket and then the single bulb screws into the adapter. Works like a charm. 👍🏻

Question> with the Design House 502146 style photocell, you have, why didn't you just disconnect/then connect the new photocell at the plastic connect? Didn't have to take off the light.

i see you cut out the black wire from the plug switch so you just have two i was missing that part
