Thank you ,I bought the billent motor mount & put them on ,there was a very little vibration over all drive awesome you can feel the difference again thank you for the know how awesome!!!!

One thing that I noticed in this video is that if you are going to lower the motor, the spacer or spacers that you remove need to go on the bottom (opposite end) of the mount, otherwise you will bottom out on the shank of the through bolt. I'm not criticizing your video at all as a matter of fact this is the best video I've found on installing these mounts. Great camera work also. Oh yeah Subscribed!

Thanks for your video !, actually I'm going to do this to my 2016 GT but there operation is so similar as to really not make a difference, but you do a great job of talking about the best way of replacing the mounts regardless of the mustang.

If you're watching this to get ready to put these in on your Stang with equal length shorty headers know this: it's gonna take you about 4-5 hours; you're gonna need angulating racheting 13, 14 and 15mm wrenches. You're gonna have to remove the motor mount brackets (not a big deal). The most frustrating part is getting the bmr center bolt up through the motor mount bracket and being able to hold it there while you somehow put the washer and 15mm nylock nut on there. It's a bitch. Try not to drop the washer or nut into the open "K" member because you're then going to need a magnet to get them out. You'll figure it out. A helper is a must. Tighten the two 13mm outside nuts. Then tighten with locktite all the motor mount bracket bolts and studs. Push the center BMR bolt through and secure with the washer and 15mm nylock nut (top) and 14mm bolt head (bottom). Don't tighten yet. Drop the engine back down. Now tighten the 15mm nylock nut with a 14mm wrench on the bottom. Hope this helps. It's doable. Just hang in there

I have one question, how hard was it to loosen the bolts that hold the engine mounting brackets to the engine block. Did you just use a regular ratchet wrench do the work ? It looks like the space there is limited, although you mentioned that the torque spec is 59 FT/LBS which isn't too tight.

Did you have to take off the wheels before doing this?

You and I have a lot of bits in common: flipflops, harbor freight torque wrench, willingness to try a repair or upgrade I have never done before.

awesome work would it be beneficial to loosen the transmission mount a bit to give it some slack when lifting the engine?

Doing Steeda mounts on my '11 GT500 this afternoon. Had long tube clearance issues, they tapped at certain rpm/loads.

How are the they holding up, I just ordered some for my mustang?? Anyone that have them I would like to know how they feel after their (broken in)

hey, how many motor / transmission mounts are on a ‘14 V6 mustang??

I had the transmission mount replaced on a W211 and the vibration I felt in the steering wheel went away immediately

I just got done installing the BMR mounts on my 11GT. Honestly not sure what I feel about them. I've heard that over time they will "settle" and quiet down some, but right now I have so much noise\vibration I wasn't sure if the engine was missing (no CELs). It seems a like the NVH falls off around 2K RPM and isn't that bad above that point. Great video, by the way :)

Great job....but.... in the Long run may be you Will have trans problems or clouch problems...because the drive shaft is out of line with the dif and trans....hope for the best....good luck.
