Very helpful video. Before I start I want to make sure I have the correct problem. I can lock and unlock manually and open it. However, it won't lock or unlock using the fob. Is the actuator the part to replace? Thank you

Brian, i have to replace the front passenger door latch but I am unable to remove the latch assembly from inside.. it appears that the window track is in the way. any ideas? thanks and good vid!!!

How to Automotive thanks i was wondering because I someone told me it was a bit tricky with those two rods to access and there isn't a black trim pieace to take off just the 3 screws at the latch

The trick here is to remove the screw that holds the track at the bottom. Then you can slide the latch all the way down and out with all the fixin's still attached though you may have to unplug the lock actuator. I fought with this for about an hour, cussing and swearing until I discovered that.
