Very nice video! My Edge sensors are toast and Ford says they are probably missing because it’s unlikely they’d all go at once. I’m like what? This video helped me understand the system and the labor involved in replacement. Thanks for the education!!

I once installed a CHINA sensor on a Honda Civic and that sensor was copying "stealing" the ID from another oem sensor on the car. Really crazy stuff. Once I replaced it with an OEM everything was ok. Thanks for that great content my friend.

Interesting. The Ford Edge is capable of a stationary TPMS relearn. I never thought about doing an automatic relearn on any Ford. Other than that, well done on the repair job. Especially when you're dealing with Ford banded sensors.

Is it same relearn process of the tpms if you make use of a used oem tpms
@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair2 жыл бұрын
Mayowa Odus yes pretty much the same process but when you install aftermarket sensors you have to use the TPMS Tool and Program the sensors to TPMS Control unit!!

One question. Did you need to run for 108 miles for the car to relearn the sensors?
@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair2 жыл бұрын
Antonio Poveda No, Not at all, I drove it for about 10 minutes then the light went off!
