All you need is a friend that can hold the trunk for you and a flat head screwdriver

Thank you for this!!! My trunk is bad right now. My trunk won’t even stay up at all, I have to hold it the entire time abs if I let go, it drops HARD

This could be my current issue. My trunk won't pop open, I have to use my key fob and hold the trunk with my hand to lift it manually.

I believe this could be the issue because once they don’t work anymore the trunk gets heavy to lift up
