Thanks for explaining this - now three years in it has been perfectly helpful for me and I got the courage to try and replace my Crafter passenger switch!! Turned out it hadn’t been reconnected after painting 😣 but now it works and my door panel is reattatched!

Great Video! I have no knowledge of vans or fixing automobiles and I found this very entertaining! If I get get a van with a wonky window button, I know what video to watch. I just need to get myself a pokey thing! 😀😂😂 You’re a great and patient teacher. Very easy to follow.

Ugh I hate messing with door panel stuff. I always have to do it because Jessie gets impatient and things sometimes get broke. I always tell him he can't just ape it! It takes a bit of ease. So rather than watching him rip stuff apart, I just do it LOL.

Oh mate I checked VW by me and they where quoting the same kind of price . I’ll admit the one i fitted isn’t the best made so I’m going ro pick up a propper one for about £60 and re fit it . It works fine but the mirror adjustment can be a little glitchy . But for the windows it’s perfect

Hi Neil. Did you manage to find a RHD switch or did you fit a LHD switch...? I can find hundreds of LHD ones but not sure if the plugs are the same..?

Best way to replace the switch is to buy a better make of van .VW is notorious for electric and electronic problems.
