My man thank you so much. My faithful granny wagon is showing her age and and is needing all kinds of care right now and I'm eager and willing to do what I can, and pretty sure I've just pulled off the original pump. Couldn't find the pliers so used a small clamp to carefully free the white thing off the old pump. Oddly though, just as in the video I made very sure to put a little tag on the pipe that was pulled off the white bit to make sure it went back on rightly. Except this pump seems to be backwards! switched the pipes round with a little stretch needed from one but now all is good. Honestly very helpful, others made it look more complicated than needed.

Thankyou for uploading this, it's still helping people! Think my pump has gone or there is a blockage as I'm not getting water to the front or back so your disassembly is a great visual aid. Only problem is my bonnet handle bust off as I was initially diagnosing it this evening. Good times!

God bless you, sir! I was going insane, I thought I had debris in the lines or something if the back windshield is working. I was about to disassemble the whole water system just for a pump 10 euro replacement. I pull the water line and try using it without the 2 sprays, and I have no water pressure so it's clear - the front pump line is dead. THANK YOU for teaching us and tell us is a dual pump. It's a easy 15min job if you take the headlight out before this job. And THANK YOU for showing in the beginning how to problem persist (it makes all the matter)

Great detailed video and Thank you for doing this. I took my front passenger light off my 2012 Ford Fiesta Metal, but the pump was far too low and very difficult to get at. I then took off the front passenger-side wheel and removed two screws from the wheel-arch which allowed me to easily pull out the bottom half of the arch, which then gave me full easy access to the pump at eye level. I then noticed the pump I bought off Amazon was a different model, but I returned it and ordered the exact same model on the car and fitted like a glove. In order to ensure you order the right model, I recommend having a check first to see what's currently fitted, as a lot of the washer pumps on the internet can look quite familiar. Your brilliant video gave me the push to sort mine, initially assuming it was a blockage in a hose, but it was the pump after all. Cheers mate!
