In this video, I walk through the process of replacing windshield wiper blades on a 2011 Chevy Equinox. This video tutorial on how to replace windshield wiper blades should provide the basic steps that are required to replace wiper blades on just about any vehicle. The windshield wipers on this 2011 Chevy Equinox were replaced with Michelin Stealth XT Wipers. These windshield wipers are mid-priced abut seem to hold up fairly well. I installed a 24" Michelin Stealth XT Wiper on the driver's side of the Equinox and a 19: Michelin Stealth XT Wiper on the passenger side.

After reading the tiny, not very detailed instructions on the Michelin box and looking at a few KZfaq videos that weren't helpful either, I was able to get this installed right away after watching THIS video. I had to remove a piece from the new wiper and install the plastic adapter that came in the box. It showed me clearly what to do and that I would not break it in the process. Thank you!

Very helpful for someone who didn’t know that you needed to take out the thing in the new wipers. Every other video I have watched only shows you how to take it out and then shows them putting it back in. Never showing you what steps you need to take with the new ones. Thank you so much.

With Michellin there was a part that I had to put on the arm BEFORE I could attach wiper blade. Although thankfully for this post. I tried to attach wiper WITHOUT all the other pieces and it snapped right into place. THANK YOU for the tutorial. Otherwise I would've been trying all night or looking like a stupid woman taking to our mechanic.

Whyyyyyy is this vehicles wiper blades so complicated? If u don’t have wiper blades with adapters you can’t just poo a new blade on because of the PTB mechanism?
