The artwork is my favorite!!!! Great idea. I'm not a lip scrub person. I use makeup glitters and cream shadows on kindness rock painting.

@@summer.stockwell and adding in your other idea I do use old nail polish to paint rocks too. Love the different looks using ideas like this gives a project.

Hi Sunmer, I really liked the artwork, but I have a question--do you need to seal the completed project so the makeup doesn't smear or melt in warm/humid conditions? I'm thinking about making a bunch of little paintings to give as gifts, thanks for the inspiration!

That's so awesome!! I have had the painting in my bathroom since I made this video. Which always gets hot from showers and it hasn't budged!! If you want to be safe tho I would probably seat it with some type of sealer from a craft store ! I hope it turned out great!

The nail polish hack doesn't really work. There's no longevity. It takes forever to dry and after some time, it starts to separate in layers.

It might depends on the clear base. Mine didn't separate and dried at a normal time !

@@jeonjungsook8982 really ?! What the heck!! Maybe it's the makeup then. Mine is super expired but still worked. I'll have to revisit it and see!

@@summer.stockwell yeah i saw this hack 3 years ago and since then I've tried to make this work with alot of different formulas but it doesn't work for me. I got really excited when i saw this hack because that meant alot of pigments didn't go to waste but i was so sad when it didn't work for me😔
